Karnig Ostayan

Co-founder, Principal

Karnig oversees the strategic growth, sales and marketing initiatives for Phoenix Construction Group.  He has been instrumental in driving the company’s emphasis on providing high-level customer service.

Karnig’s experience encompasses a portfolio of large-scale real estate development that mainly includes projects consisting of 100-plus units.  Karnig’s broad expertise in structural building technology allows him to take on the more challenging projects.

Karnig’s work reflects his commitment to the environment.  He is consistently focused on being environmentally-conscious and Energy Star-rated, and he keeps himself informed on the latest green building technologies.

With a family history of entrepreneurship, Karnig has founded and successfully grown several local companies.  He is a well-respected and well-known businessman who has devoted himself to his community.  He has served on the board of a local school as well as a long list of charitable organizations.

Karnig completed his studies at Bentley College with a concentration in Real Estate Finance and Information Technology.

Dani Chedid

Co-founder, Principal

Dani is responsible for resource planning with direct control of finances, contract issues, and field operations and processes.  His experience has included managing large-scale construction projects and building executive homes in developing countries.  Dani brings a wealth of knowledge in project management and client service from working with Fortune 100 companies.  His clients have included World Bank, the United Nations and AT&T. 

Dani strives to build long-lasting relationships with clients, placing their needs first.  This focused approach has helped Phoenix Construction Group to rise to the top among building professionals in the area.

Dani is committed to serving the community as well as the industry.  As a third generation building professional, he is a board member for Local leaders and an active member of the Builders Association of Greater Boston and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.  Dani is also involved in planning and fundraising for a non-profit organization, and he commits time as a volunteer to causes for the homeless.

Dani earned a degree in Engineering Studies at Northeastern University.

Jirair Ostayan

Project Engineering Manager

Jirair is responsible for making sure every Phoenix Construction project is sound.  His focus is on reviewing all drawings and documents related to each project.  Jirair also creates construction drawings as needed to ensure our work is done right.

Every project is unique.  Jirair applies his engineering knowledge and experience to help facilitate clear, concise communication to everyone involved.  That includes:  Our clients, architects and structural engineers.  Jirair is an invaluable part of the Phoenix team.  He lends peace of mind to each project with his ability to discuss various aspects of the project.

Jirair is proficient in the most cutting edge Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.  This allows our team to work directly with our clients to create in-house designs if necessary.  This improves the interaction with architects to better understand everyone's vision.

Jirair works closely with subcontractors.  As part of the team, he is available to resolve or clarify any uncertainties that arise with the construction documents and drawings during the entire project.

Jirair earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.





John Leahey

Construction Supervisor
 
John is our on-sight Construction Manager. He is responsible for daily coordination of our employees, subcontractors, and most importantly, our clients.

John brings a wealth of construction experience.  He has recently joined our team applying his wide variety of knowledgeand skills. For the last 20 years, he has been involved in all aspects of the building business.  John has run his own company and has also worked for other high end building and design companies in the Boston area.  
 
John was Ranked 1st in the Certified Remodelers Program.  He is also a Certified Lead Safe Remodeler. In addition, he has been an active member of National Association of Remodelers Institute and donated his time to Habitat for Humanity as an on-site Construction Manager.

John welcomes the most challenging projects.  He has extensive knowledge of remodeling and millwork that brings a proactive approach to his work. His focus on customer service lends an ease to the process ensuring each client understands the project from beginning to end.

John delivers on his promise of the highest quality projects through the highest level of customer service.
